Anna Teghammar at The School of Engineering and Chalmers Technical University has made her PhD thesis Biogas Production from Lignocelluloses: Pretreatment, Substrate Characterization, Co-digestion and Economic Evaluation publicly available and you can find it in fulltext in BADA.
The dissertation focuses on biogas production from lingocelluloses. It is composed of cellulose and lingin and there is a abundance of it, 50% of the world’s biomass is lingocellulosa. The problem is that it is difficult to produce biogas from lingocellulosa due to its composition. A number of different pretreatment methods are studied to understand the effects on biogas production.
Anna Teghammar will be publicly defending the dissertation May 24 2013, at 10 am at KA, Kemigården 4, Gotheburg.
